Excited to see where this goes, as I was not one of the people who found Dragon Age 2 completely repugnant (in fact I kind of enjoyed the smaller scope of the story). Looks like it could be proper open world-y too. I'll wait for my copy of the mag and see what they have to say.

It looks like it could be interesting, so I am applying the same cautious optimism to this that I am to the rest of the game. I certainly never asked for multiplayer in my Batman game, and am a little disappointed that they chose to include it when the others did just fine without it.

What I find a bit more disheartening is their clear reuse of assets. The creative director dude said on Steam that this Robin is Dick Grayson (it had to be simply based on their own timeline), and not to get all crazy geek, but Dick was not a staff wielder. That is a pure Tim Drake thing, and something he was really known for. I know they had assets available for the stick, as they used it in the Robin DLC from Arkham City, but this kind of ignoring the comic just to get some use out of the assets is something I don't think Rocksteady would have done.

I am speechless right now. I can't even process this if it's real, and if it's not, this is the greatest possible troll of all time.

Just watched the Wonder Woman/Harley fight. Killer Croc is a member of the "gonna punch you through this wall" brigade. Not playable. I would say the fact that they kept the Arkham look kinda gave that away, but nice to anyway.

@patrick - yeah, my problems with it weren't had nothing to do with Connor. They need to take a break and figure out how to make the series what it should be, instead of simply trying to squeeze everything they can from the well.

So much for 3rd party WiiU exclusives... Way to go Nintendo. That's how you shore up a console launch!

@Pr1mus: Those, and the parts at the end where Drake is hallucinating and fighting off the Djinn warriors that can teleport and refuse to engage in melee.

When Final Fantasy 7 came out, I convinced my brother and sister to fore go regular christmas presents and get a playstation. Said it would be good for everyone. I count that as one of my greatest early life accomplishments lol.

Rather then attempt to "meta" the system, why not just run with the choices you've made and see what happens. You may be surprised, you may not. DA2 in itself was lacking for some and good for others, so instead of relying on behind the scenes info, just play the game.

On a more positive note: Thanks for the follow up, Patrick. Maybe one day we'll be more upset that it was a fake cut-up human as a tchotchke rather then just a woman, but at least some of us are still human enough to realize that something about it wasn't right.
