I thought overall it was pretty good, it seems to lose beat somewhere in the middle (might be due to loss of fidelity by youtube) but I liked it. What software do you use?
I thought the reference on the Listen UP episode was pretty hilarious, because you gotta admit Bombcast loves its snackfoods and tangents.
Haha for example I went back and listened to the first Arrow Pointing Down and like the first thing Jeff and Ryan talk about is the "new" Tiger Gatorade flavors.
Running out of water bombs in the Lakebed Temple in Twilight Princess, not having found the dude to teleport me out of the dungeon, and not a random water bomb lying around in sight.
@GrimCrossFade: when I bought the starterpack it came with basically mini versions of the monster's book, player handbook, and DM guide, some quest ideas and outlines to get you started, a dungeon map with unit markers, character sheets and pre-made character sheets for some sample characters you can play with before making your own, and some dice.
So yeah, if you can find it you can basically play out of the box :)
I don't know if they still sell it but there was a starter pack that comes with the basics you need without buying the giant Dungeon Master guide, Player Handbook, etc. It's a good way to see if this is something you guys wanna invest time and money in
The books are good, I've read them all. They don't standup to other fantasy books as well, but the plot and characters are good in their own right.
I found the first and fifth movie to be good in terms of quality and trueness to the book, but I think the 3rd book had the best cinematic feel to it, with the 5th movie running a close second.
I'm most worried about them splitting the last book into two movies. Seriously, I know there's a lot to cover but cutting it up into two releases seems retarded.
