I knew I missed something obvious. Thanks for taking the time to reply and with your help I know now its called theme of tara. there are entirely to many MGS games for the un-initiated lol. Can someone please help me out here? I've never been a huge metal gear player but really enjoyed the ps3 phantom pain release and this was my entry to the franchise. I played many hours of it's multiplayer as well and utilized the music option in this mode to listen to what I thought was the 8 bit chip tune music from that legendary game. This music is great for sneaking around in a box or just run'n and gun'n at least for me.

So the issue I have is finding this music all these years later being that when I search for it I get results for supposed complete track compilations from the nes games but I've never heard the track I like in any of these compilations. This has always puzzled me but I figured oh well I can live without solving this mystery.

Fast forward to earlier this week and I sit down to watch the latest Dan Rykert series and hear the music in question in the nes game even though I'm still unable to find it's name when searching through track listings concerning the title. Obviously I'm confused and must be missing some technical detail concerning the franchise and its history so I'm looking for some help to locate the track title that's playing in the game at around the 10:53 mark of the Who's the Big Boss video?
