As a Shenmue fan, so far 3 has been everything I could have wanted from a sequel. I was worried about the low budget, but it's still so Shenmue down to the details that you can tell Yu Suzuki really put his heart into bringing it together.
I don't really agree with the whole idea of "You have to play it from the perspective of when it came out or else it's just an inferior Yakuza" - I first got into the series in 2015 after the Kickstarter was announced and unironically fell in love. Plus I'm not a fan of Yakuza's setting
The speed stuff I can understand, but the unlimited limit break stuff I don't really the point of. People keep calling it "quality of life" but it seems to just ruin the game. It's like if there was an "always big mario/invincibility stay" button in Mario.
Abby, if you cant remember the title of a game that is in another language, don’t pull gibberish from your ass ‘or whatever,’ as it can make you look ignorant and/or dismissive of something. Just some friendly criticism.
Jeff does literally the same thing as Abby (and for a longer period of time) but for some reason you decided to criticize her and not him huh funny that wonder why
Jeff was pensive when he first said it, and asked for clarification on the pronunciation, and he also didn't make a comment on par with Abby's "Or whatever the F*ck it's called".
That said I don't think pronouncing a non-english title wrong is that bad of a thing. Like I wouldn't get angry if someone said "Ninja Gay-den" instead of "Guy-den".
I remember on a Bombcast a while back, some guest had some dig at people who pronounce "Ikaruga" as "Ee-kuh-Roo-Guh", (instead of "Ee-kah-roo-gah" ) when that's probably how 99% of westerners pronounce it, the GB staff included.
Dan's right, Reese's had a product called "Inside Out" which was chocolate on the inside and peanut butter on the outside. I don't remember it tasting that good
