It's nice to show them that these are well liked but I'm surprised that this is a serious thread due to the bomb crew's constant disdain and mockery toward internet petitions.

As Jeff repeated says time and time again. "Back up your shit or not. I'm not worried because the community will find a way"

I might wait until the Holidays for the inevitable GOTY Edition and get the whole package for a normal price. In the event that I get the game before then I won't buy the season pass or any of the DLC unless I'm really into it

I haven't played the game yet but it seems like the majority of those who have played the game really enjoy it (PC problems aside). At Giantbomb specifically, Jeff seems to be the most cynical about it. The others seem to really like it. I think the fear among a lot of people is that WB will continue making similar batman games and it will become call of duty-esqe.

@fisk0: Exactly! The mechanics and systems behind Elite are so well done and tight but there is virtually zero prompting as to what the player should do and not a ton of variation. You end up repeating the same dozen or so tasks quite a bit. It does become more interesting as you form wings though. If you wing up with people that you can trust and set goals there is a lot of fun to be had.

Elite Dangerous has a lot of tedious aspects to it. Making money to buy the top tear ships can take months of long and regular sessions. That being said I like the tedium of making making space bucks cause its easy to listen to podcasts at the same time. I genuinely feel like I've accomplished something once I get the new ship or upgrade I've been saving for. Something that I don't often feel when playing other games. Elite Dangerous continues to be the game I spend the most time with despite the grind. I think Elite Dangerous is for me what DOTA is for Brad!

I'm OK with remakes honestly but I think some publishers are relying on them too much. I actually laughed and spit my water out when the word "Remake" appeared in lens flare during the FF7 reveal. It's gotten kind of silly at this point just how much we are willing to lose our shit for remakes. Publishers know we'll buy it

OK. A sequel to look froward to. Loved Enemy Unknown/Within!
