Film and 40s is genuinely my favorite GB feature, so please accept this as genuine constructive feedback and not just me bitching: two hours of listening to people mocking and making fun of a good, mediocre or terrible movie is entertaining. Two hours of listening to people complain about a movie is frustrating.
That said, you guys are still awesome and I'm looking forward to next week!
Wyatt dropping acid and seeing the cartoon lizard, which then leads to nothing more would be my vote for the most disappointing sequence. Of course Wyatt going kinda crazy throughout the whole game is neat as a whole, but I really hoped for something spectacular to happen with that lizard.
When the poor lizard died I was genuinely sad. i wonder how different the game was depending on who you chose to save? Wyatt's trips seemed so integral to the story for much of the game, and the 20 second sequence where he throws the tab in his mouth and then has his moment with the lizard is one of my favorite parts of the game.
Hearing Vinny talk about the ending confused me as well. The only people who spoke in my ending were Wyatt and Grace. After three minutes of horrible music BJ gives the ring to Anya, but he only says like ten words, and they're to her, not the audience. It kind of makes me want to play through again to see how different the game is depending on who you chose.
Brian Fargo left Interplay to form inXile (and make the underrated Wasteland 2). I think the job of running Interplay into the ground was left in the capable hands of Herve Caen.

The river that caught on fire was the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland. On the upside, A) the whole area is much nicer now (despite reading comments on ESPN message boards that repeatedly and ignorantly reference the phrase "mistake on the lake", and B) that event was kind of a watershed moment for environmental responsibility in the country and brought about some pretty siginificant changes to help our planet (and before anyone rags on EPA regulations, for right or wrong, bear in mind we lit a moving body of water on fire).

Abby seems great! I don't if anyone can ever replace Austin's joy-inducing chicken-laugh, but I foresee some fun interactions coming down the pike.
I didn't pick up on any patronizing or condescending statements until I came to the comments and saw half a dozen people coming to the defense of a grown adult who didn't ask for any help. I don't know how anyone can listen to the Beastcast and come away with any other notion than these are some of the most respectful people on the planet. It's going to be okay.
