  • Addictive game. The repetition got at me though near the end when I died without placing a portal and had to go through two floors I'd already beaten, complete with re-spawns. The 'ending' was also very anti-climactic. Good fun though, definitely worth the £3.75 I paid for it. 4/5

  • I bought a THQ game pack that was on sale via Steam over the holiday season and Red Faction Guerrilla was one of the twenty or so games on that list. I probably never would have bought or played it otherwise. That would have been a mistake! First impressions were "OH MY.... THIS IS AMAZING" The destruction mechanics are the franchises biggest selling point and 'Guerrilla' took it to a crazy new level. In the latter half of the game I started to die more and more often and the fun started to stray a little so I decided to lower the difficulty to Casual. I don't usually do that but the fun in this game doesn't come from the challenge it gives, it's the weapons and the destruction they cause. I didn't have any luck getting into multiplayer matches which sucks but that's my fault I guess for not playing it earlier. Pretty awesome overall. 4/5

  • This is one of the few games that live up to the hype and then some. And I'm pretty certain Mass Effect 2 would jump straight into my 'Top Ten Games Of All Time' list if I had one. Bioware should be the ones bearing the name Epic. Except not really because Bioware are beyond epic! 5/5

  • Short but fun! 3/5

  • I tend to play games on the harder / hardest difficulty setting even on my first play through. It's often tough but I usually enjoy the challenge. With Dark Void it just seemed cheap and broken. I died so many times through no fault of my own!! For example, in the air sections I would get two-shotted and killed in an instant. There's no cover in the air and the special maneuvers don't help either. Also there were a lot of bugs like falling through the ground or getting stuck somewhere. If it wasn't for those things I could have loved this game. But I didn't. 2/5

  • Obviously awesome. Though I was annoyed that I got all but two of those glow worms!!! The battle at the end was way cool. Vroom vroom boom boom. EPISODE THREE GIVE! 5/5

  • Blehhhh. Although I did play it through, this game is nowhere near as good as 7, 8, 9 or 10, I never finished any of the others so can't comment on them. It's just far far too linear. It opens up and gets awesome when you reach chapter 11 but there are only 13 chapters all in, so, I mean, damn, it could have been so much better. The story is alright, the presentation is ace and the combat is awesome. If you have patience I'd recommend it. Otherwise steer clear. 3/5

  • Bayonetta is to video games what Being John Malkovich is to movies - a big gigantic WTF! Never gets boring but can sometimes be a bit TOO much to take in. Pretty awesome overall - 4/5

  • Never played the first one but you don't need to. Campaign was awesome. I suck at RTS multiplayer but the matchmaking system has successfully matched me with similarly sucky players and I've won a few games!

    ACE!

  • Two years down the line, finally played this. IS OSSUM! Can't think of a single fault in it - 5/5

  • Pretty awesome. Not entirely original at my time of playing but it was released in 2007. looking forward to uncharted 2! - 4/5

  • Played through without internet so it was entirely solo. I'm certain I would have enjoyed it even more if i was able to get online - 3/5

  • This game is awesome and SOLID! The non-existant downtime between deaths meant that I just kept trying and trying until I beat those levels. Completed the entire light world and the cotton valley bonus world! Maybe one day I'll go abck and try the dark world. But yes, awesome! - 5/5

  • Got it for a laugh. It ended up being actually decent! - 3/5

  • If I'd played this one first I'd have given it 5/5 but it's fairly identical to the first game. - 4/5
