Seems like they are a bit harsh on this game that ONE GUY MADE BY HIMSELF. Maybe take that into perspective. It made the QL really annoying to watch because of all the negativity. Sure it might not be a great game, but at least give som perspective.
@ddddaa44: yeah haha, we'll see if they ever learn :D From what I can tell they really struggle with the basics of just handling the Gamecube controller... It is kinda weird since they all played the Gamecube when it first came out. So somewhere during these years the precision went away, but maybe that can somewhat be attributed to old unresponsive joysticks on the controllers? Who knows!
BTW I remember not really liking the game when it came out, I thought it was way to easy compared to Mario 64. But Pianta Village was one of the levels I actually liked. Because it was difficult. Anyway, today I actually really like the game!
Y'all need to learn the water burst in the air thing - it'll make half the shines in the game so much easier to get. You just need to hit R+A together in the air.
They also need to learn how to spray while running. It seems like they are always pushing the analogue shoulder button to the max... hasn't Dan told them to press lightly? The shotgun blast and the running while spraying would have made the lava level sooo easy!
@paulunga: Absolutely, they are to afraid of the circle. It is better to have your back free than always being in the middle of it and getting shot from all directions. They should have definetely stayed in the tunnels ;)
Great write up Brad! It is a pleasure to read your reviews.
The game though seems to be a sorry mess. Now begins the "defence" of this game. It always happens to crashed projects like these and it is so blatantly obvious. But I guess you have to do what you have to do to sell the game and try to keep people interested.
