I do hope they cover Dragon Ball Super after finishing Kai, they seem to enjoy just hanging out with the goofy characters more than the big epic battles and DBS, like the original DB, has plenty of downtime and goofing around.
I haven't finished the video, but I'm at the part where Abby is arguing about Nier and how it forces you to look up her skirt. Maybe because I wasn't wanting to look up her skirt, but I don't know how this game does that. The only way I noticed the game was focusing underneath her skirt is during 2 cut-scenes, and their the ending cut-scenes of Route A and B (the same cut-scene). Maybe this is just me and my male brain, but I don't see how Abby jumped to that conclusion.
I don't think it ever forces you to look up her skirt and the camera never focuses on any of her assets during cutscenes. Honestly the camera actively tries to move away from looking under her skirt on ladders or other things that needs the camera to go lower. It's not a perfect camera though, sometimes you're in there by accident. Her point is valid though when you add in Yoko Taro's comments, self-destructing and blowing the skirt off, and the fact that you're rewarded for trying to get up in there with an achievement. It makes it seem like the devs want you to try and break the camera logic to see her butt.
The way Alex talked about NieR was the most passionate I've ever seen him and it really affected me. "Playing NieR made me feel seen in a way that I have not gotten in a game before." I almost choked up, really well said.

I'm not sure why people are so down on the deliberations this year. Disagree all you want, but when you're getting aggro over an arbitrary list of games that you have no control over, maybe you're the issue. Toxic nerdery has well past reached it's boiling point and I hope 2018 is the year where we can address it fully.
@jadegl: man, despite all the negativity towards dragon age inquisition it had quite the cast of characters. I may have to go back to it sometime.
Man that game was lauded. I feel like the negativity was just this website. Like a much less intense version of the Witcher 3 situation.
Why was the game disliked on here? I personally didn't like it for the grindy faux-open world gameplay, the bland narrative and an antagonist that never felt like a threat after he enters the story.
I know why Poison in Final Fight got changed, I know why crosses got changed, I know why bars got changed, I know why dirty magazines got changed, I know why art got changed, I know why a DOA game got banned for pedophile contents in Sweden, so I know why they're not bothering bringing DOAX3 out in the west.
What I don't know is why people are fine with underage tit and ass or regular extreme titilation in film, TV and music videos, while games get full on west-coast college safespace demands pressured on them?
Xenoblade's removal of the bust size slider is idiotic but the costume modification of that one character was acceptable and tasteful and makes the game better.
(What gives, I can always import DOAX3 from Play-Asia or somewhere else if I want it, the Asia version is in full English (for the record, the DOAX games also have the male characters in their speedos, barely any PR material of them but it's beautiful, proper old greco-roman mostly-nude wrestling and fighting, not always in a homo-erotic way.)
Different industries, different expectations, but in this specific case there was no outrage over this game. It was Koei Tecmo making a business decision while indirectly diverting blame, then other outlets made business decisions to manufacture a controversy to exploit a group of people in to being outraged. DOAX doesn't have any playable male characters, Zack is in a speedo for a couple of scenes here and there, but none of them are playable.
