@scottygrayskull: Oh, shit. I did too! It seems the achievements for that game no longer exist on Xbox.com, so I'd forgotten about it. But, the evidence still lives on Exophase. My 360 background is still 1 vs 100, heh.
Well, that was quick y'all. This is one of the ones I brought to PAX.
There's no time to waste. Did you get these back in the day or acquire them over time?
I was a subscriber from day one. I ended up creating a fan site after the first issue, met the producer (Gary Barth) randomly in an AOL chat room, and got invited to E3 in Atlanta (seen in this Demo Derby).
A lot of the content from my old site I converted into what's on the PlayStation Underground wiki page here. It was my first big project on the wiki back in 2008.
Hey yo! I don't have a whole lot to add for this particular entry of PlayStation Underground. This issue was the fourth and final issue of the second year (Holiday 1998), which makes it the one directly previous to the most recent Demo Derby (the WCW issue).
The intro video is in fact outtakes from an actual Crash commercials featuring Robbie Knievel and Mark Spitz.

It's interesting how even in just a short of a demo of Shadow Tower, you can see the beginnings of Souls games.
Also, young Stewart Copeland might actually be a time traveling Drew Scanlon.
Hey yo! Your resident PlayStation Underground historian here. Despite saying "Winter," this issue came out around March 1999. If I recall correctly, the WCW footage was shot backstage during Starrcade '98, which was in late December, and WCW/nWo Thunder released in early January. This also means that by the time anyone watched these videos, The Giant was no longer in WCW and had already debuted in WWF.
Project Wormhole was intended to be a 1-year project, but it actually ended up spanning nearly two years. Much like Underground in general, it was a cool thing that was ahead of its time.
This disc may be the only version of Gangway Monsters that was ever even partially translated into English. I've had several people over the years send me a PM asking where I got the screenshots.
The TV that was destroyed by The Giant (Big Show) in the WCW Thunder segment was purchased that day with the plan being to have a wrestler destroy it in some way. Sorry for breaking kayfabe here.
