I never usually read these lists, I'm just curious about the games, but I enjoy your writing!

Shouldn't dismiss first person so quickly! It handles well, and it so much more fair. Third person feels like hacking in comparison.

Also Vinny if you are curious about your first death, when he came round the corner you started firing, but you didn't aim at him :P

Their complaint is about the story mode? It's a fighting game and it has online, tbh that is everything it needs. Even a good fighting game story mode is still just fighting the CPU, which is so unrewarding...

I'm a biochemist, and it was initially hilarious hearing the name in lectures and serious discussions about that protein. It's not inconsequential either, whole labs are dedicated to studying the expression of that protein!

Well he does 'deserve' it, he has won the most shines through gameplay. He is usually the most competent player in these things.

Presentation is so important in a fighting game. I'm gonna have to stare at the same character models, animations and backgrounds for hundreds of hours. It better be pretty.

No Xmen is awful, it's like not having Ryu in a street fighter game.

He hasn't played the heel at all in this series. He constantly offers help so they don't totally hate playing the game, and even printed out shine locations. The only thing you can accuse him of is winning by playing well.
