I really like this video series. I bought this game today and got to 2nd place once. I just watched Vinny shooting Jeff frame by frame. Vinny wasn't aiming at Jeff when he shot him. It must have been something with lag and the fact that they were moving quickly in the vehicle that made the game think that Vinny's bullet should hit Jeff.
Yeah from watching this it seems like either they are being unlucky with laggy servers, or their internet is kinda shitty.
This is such a classic fighting game situation. Vinny is trying to play the game properly, and it's actually making him worse. Eventually he'll be infinitely better than Dan, but at the moment he still loses to Dan's random mashing. Treat this like a science, not an art, learn moves and matchups, never do something unless you could explain why you did it.
