@matoya: with the exception of odin sphere and yakuza that whole pile is made of games that i actively play/replay, i doubt that for me id ever get as many hours out of the entire switch console as i could that pile of games, but if you don't replay anything then i suppose thats a good deal.

I can appreciate that. But for me personally, I want to experience as many games as possible, on as many different platforms as possible.

I like to beat a game, then move onto the next one. I know some people like replaying games, but for me, I like playing a lot of different games.

I can't believe I'm the only one saying this:

I buy physical copies so I can sell them once I've finished. In this day and age, with so many games coming out, I never have the time to play a game twice. So once I'm done with it, I sell them on.

I just recently sold this stack for £250, which has got me enough money to buy a Switch. Why wouldn't I?

Switch - Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Odyssey

PS4 - Middle Earth: Shadow of War

3DS - Metroid

I WAS super excited for Shadow of War, but the microtransactions stuff put me off. I guess I'll wait and see what people say in reviews, but I'm immediately put off by what I've heard

Hey gang,

I'll admit this up front- this post is largely made because I'm pretty ignorant as to what's coming out for the rest of the year, and I'd like to see what you guys are looking forward to so I can steal some ideas!

But I guess yeah, what is coming out that you guys are eager to play this year? It seems that the early chunk of the year was SO PACKED with great games, that it seems like there's nothing left. But I'll be damned if there's actually quite a few games coming out this year.

For me, I guess it's:

-South Park TFB

-Mario Odyssey (This will be the game that will make me pick up a Switch)

-I know this isn't technically 2017, but Ni No Kuni 2 comes out EARLY January, so that's on my list.

What about you guys? Anything super special you're looking forward to getting your teeth into? I'm expecting a lot of Destiny 2 in this thread!

I just got timed out on Titanic Monarch zone.

Fuck me lads, talk about an infuriating stage.

I must have spent 3/4 minutes on just ONE section where you have to circle around those large purple orbs and launch yourself off them. I THINK you control your movement by simply pressing left and right? I at least THINK that's the right way to do it.

What do you all think is the hardest/worst zones so far?

I've been stuck for a few days on each of Hydrocity, Oil Ocean and Metallic Madness. I managed to JUST get through them, but good God is this a KIND OF difficult game

My entire life is crippled by my desire to go back to when I was 18 and all the possibilities were open to me. I'd just started university, I had friends, and a future.

Now I'm just depressed as fuck, and my medication isn't working as well anymore. I wish I could go back

If I want to rewatch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, should I watch it subbed or dubbed?

I watched it weekly when it was coming out, and really enjoyed it, but I was obviously watching the subbed version as it came out.

I hear that the dubs are excellent, reaching Bebop standards.

Anyone have any argument either way?

Is there any reason why a Switch is £280 directly from Nintendo but online retailers are selling them for £330+?

Is there something I'm not seeing?

Hey gang,

I just sold 25 PS4 and 3DS games that I've finished/not playing anymore. I made just shy of £250. On top of that, I just got £500 from being overtaxed this year at work. So you could say I'm kinda flushh with expendable cash at the moment.

I've sincerely thought about buying a switch, but I'm considering holding back for now.

I had a look earlier today, and the only big pack in bundle in the UK is Splatoon 2. I'll be honest- I just have no interest in that game. It just doesn't look like my kinda thing.

I guess the question I'm asking is this: Do you think there'll be a Mario Odyssey bundle coming out when the game comes out? At the moment, on Switch, I'm very interested in Odyssey, Zelda and the QL of the Rabbids XCOM like looks really fun.

Do you think I'd be best off holding out to closer to Christmas before buying a switch also. I've got that money just sitting in a paypal account, and I've got an active PS4 going atm- so I'm not desperate to buy a switch

Cheers for reading gang!

I absolutely cannot beat Oil Ocean Zone. It's super hard.

I can often make it to Act 2 with 2 lives, but I just can't beat that boss. Once you get hit, your rings go into the oil and you pretty much get 2 cock-ups before you have to redo it.

I hope i'm close to the end
