im actually really excited to hear more about god of war. I loved the first three games but got burned out when ascension came out. Glad this new one looks like a fresh take.
I'm sure this comes as much of a shock to all of you as it did for me. I was under the impression that last years game was a huge success, and was already slated for a second season. This news certainly bums me out as hit man was my GOTY last year (though i have never played any of the previous entries.)
Square Enix claims they are looking for another developer to make future games, but i don't know how this will all work out. what do you guys think is in store for the franchise?
i was one of the first people to talk about grand theft auto 5 in my high school when it first got announced. i was REALLY excited. however when the game came out there was no PC release. i could have got it on PS3 or 360, but i wanted to play it at its best and since around that time the new consoles were coming out i thought it would get released along side those. but those versions didnt come out for more than a year! and even then the pc version didnt hit for almost six months after that. when it came out on pc i simply couldn't afford it. and still to this day the only time i think about finally getting the game i have wanted for so many years, is when i have no money! at least not enough to buy a game. its actually pretty uncanny that i think about it the day after i pay my mortgage. i suppose i could just save the 60 bucks or what ever it costs these days but i never actually do. im honestly just impressed that i have had almost zero spoilers for the game. maybe someday soon the stars will align and i will finally play it.
If anyone has finished it please use this thread to spoil the hell out of it. I haven't got the game yet and i usually don't want to be spoiled but for some reason I just want to know what happens. So spoil away!
The only game it ever mad a difference for me was mgsv. I didn't play online because it was annoying so being able to just turn on the system and immediately be able to be running around as snake with out ever seeing a menu is fantastic. But anything that requires constant connection to a server it just doesn't work.
