When I was just 14, I'd read about Vib Ribbon in the official PS magazine and I was enamoured by how the game looked. The game came out - and a whole £10 less than other new games! - and it wasn't anywhere to be found in my hometown or my grandparents' town, where I'd spent a lot of my time. Eventually I managed to bug my grandparents to have a day out in Liverpool, where I managed to scour the five storey Virgin store and finally found a single, glorious sealed copy. I took it home and played it so very much.
I'm glad Americans get to get those ridiculously catchy avant garde J-pop songs stuck in their head like I had, but don't forget: we didn't get Super Mario RPG. We didn't get Chrono Trigger. We didn't get any Final Fantasy before VII. I think you guys had a pretty good deal overall!
