I agree with vidiot. I want 4chan to get dismantled so all the real talent go elsewhere while the rest go back to wherever they came from. Hopefully we can start again
Are you getting the feeling that a lot more work went into the space stage than any other? The other 4 were fun but they seemed incredibly linear and a bit boring at times. It seems Will Wright wanted to make a space themed game more than anything else
It was a cold and dark December 25th. I awoke bleary eyed at 7am with my heart pounding. I knew what was in store in the lounge below me. Quickly dismounting my bed and awakening my parents we descended into the treasure trove. In mere minutes I had unwrapped my gifts. Plenty of shiny new stuff to keep me entertained for the year. Only one final present remained. I inspected it, puzzled. It was the shape of a game case. My mind raced at the possibilities! I quickly unwrapped the paper and staring back at me was a darkly clothed man with sunglasses draped infront of a dark dystopian city. 'Deus Ex' read the title.
'What the hell is this? God damn I hate it when my parents buy video games' I thought; 'Wow this looks cool! Thank you!' I say in a grateful yet disappointed tone
This story starts again in February. The gifts that I was so excited about only a few months prior now mostly lay abandoned and unloved. I sat in my room surfing the internet on my 56k dial up connection. I decided to raid my game collection for something to alleviate the boredom. I brushed aside a copy of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to be greeted by the dark man and the dystopian world. Bored enough to try anything, I installed the game and prepared for the mediocrity.
That was my story, of how I came to be the owner of Deus Ex. I've been in love with this game ever since that first time I played it all those years ago. Sorry for the crappy narrative. Feel free to share your stories in an overly dramatic fashion
