It looks like there's a problem with today's updates for the Beastcast RSS feeds.
If you go to today's Beastcast page (https://www.giantbomb.com/shows/episode-182/2970-17681), the RSS link for the premium RSS feed goes to https://www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/beastcast, which is the RSS feed for the non-premium Beascast. The MP3 attached to today's entry is the premium version though, so subscribers of the non-premium RSS feed are getting the premium MP3 (Ep182_-_The_Giant_Beastcast_(Premium)-11-15-2018-2182290385.mp3)
Meanwhile, if you go to the non-premium page, the RSS feed links to https://www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/giant-bombcast, which is the Bombcast's RSS feed. The last entry in this feed contains the last non-premium Beascast MP3 file (Ep182_-_The_Giant_Beastcast-11-15-2018-0597031293.mp3).
Finally, the real Beastcast premium RSS feed (https://www.giantbomb.com/podcast-xml/beastcast-premium/) has not been updated.
This bug was also present in the beta, and it was reported. I guess it's low priority, considering it doesn't really break anything; it's just very ugly.
The problem is the "overflow-y: scroll" and it's present in both Firefox 63.0.1 and Edge (42.17134.1.0, EdgeHTML 17.17134). I guess you are only testing on Chrome, that doesn't really follow the standard properly in this case (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/overflow). Here's a screenshot of the issue and the code related to it:
Just changing it to "overflow-y: auto" on the "episode-info" section solves the issue, is standards compliant and shouldn't cause any side effects.
Can't say I didn't expect it, unfortunately, sooner or later. GB Chicago was always a weird fit, even though I appreciate all the work you've done from there.
You'll be sorely missed. GB grew stronger when you joined, and I'll miss your enthusiasm for all things horror and your take on the always crazy video games business. Despite all the haters doing their hating, which must've been really annoying to deal with, I really appreciated having you in the team, and I enjoyed listening/watching all your Scoops and the Wolf... vidcasts? Twice a week suited me fine, by the way.
So, best wishes to you, best of luck in your new adventures, and I hope we'll see you again soon.
Incredibly sad news. Read the news first at Joystiq, then here, then all over Twitter, and still couldn't believe it. I have been following Giant Bomb since day one, listened to every podcast and watched every video you guys have made. I can't begin to describe how much I'll miss him. This fucking sucks.
My condolences to his wife and family, and to the Giant Bomb crew.
The "Giantbomball" feed seems to have stopped working recently. It looks like right now it only includes reviews, and nothing else. The last item that shows up on Google Reader is Brad's "The Best Half-Life 2 Mod Ever", labeled as published 20 hours ago at the time of writing this.
