I talk, sing, and make dumb noises to myself constantly and I love it. And when I play video games alone I will usually talk out loud as though I am the voice inside my character's head. I prefer that to silence any day.
I've been hearing so much positive Gone Home talk over the past few weeks that I thought, "This is a game I need to check out." I went on steam, saw the price, and immediately added it to my wishlist because I wasn't going to pay $20 for something that I probably wouldn't replay anymore than once. I felt bad because I want to support games that are trying to be different and meaningful, but I just couldn't justify it to myself to pay that much for 4 hours of gameplay.
Mundo and Nidalee are pretty high on my list. I love champs with skillshots, especially ones with 3-4 second cooldowns so I can fling cleavers ALL DAY!
@video_game_king: I totally agree. This new version seems fine but, given the choice, I would probably choose original every time. The game is looking really great too, btw!
I have a Zojirushi rice maker from around 1992, and it still works perfectly. If I've learned anything from all my years on Giantbomb, it's that Zojirushi is a brand you can trust!
I'd probably try doing something I could handle better first, like I dunno, most entry level jobs. Fighting isn't something I've ever done, so I'd probably be shit at it. I'm also quite skinny/weak, please don't place your bets on me!
I basically 100% completed Fallout 3 and felt really great about it. I did every quest, got all the unique items, maxed all my skills, and even got 10's on all my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes (except Luck, I think and maybe one other one because its not possible without cheating). The day I got that final achievement in Mothership Zeta and made my ~400th save was a immensely proud day for me. I've never played a single game so much and gotten so much out of it, and that's why Fallout 3 remains my favorite game of all time.
So basically, 100% completing a game is really rewarding for me because I barely ever have the patience or admiration for a game to do it.
Well, good luck, friend! I once shared the same dream but got pretty discouraged once I realized I missed my chance at the rare event pokemon. I do boot up the original version occasionally, but then I also remember I don't have the transfer link cable thing OR Blue version...so once again, good luck! Hope you get em all!
