I'm glad they could all agree that hockey is more exciting. Every time I've tried to watch soccer all I could think is that it's basically a slower, more boring version of hockey with way less scoring chances and action.
Yeah, in terms of watching it, it's basically hockey with all the fun stripped out.
I mean, soccer is way easier to actually play, since you only need a ball and a field and not a bunch of expensive equipment, which is a big part of why it's so popular worldwide. But man I don't see how anybody can stand it as a spectator.
All of the screenshots make this thing look like a Terarria or Starbound mod. Or rather, like they made their mockups by editing sprites and objects from those games.
I would want this game more if it included songs from Persona 3. 4 is great and i love the characters but maaaaan am I way more attached to the P3 soundtrack
At least it includes MAZE OF LIFE, maybe there's more PQ stuff I didn't notice.
I understand the Tony Hawk series not wanting to draw from Skate's gameplay innovations, since that would completely change the feel of the series, but it's insane for them to not draw from Skate's non-gameplay aspects like the variety of well-realized modes, great menus, and the way you could interact with the world in ways that aren't just skating on it.
Then again I can't blame the developers much for not going for a proper successor or some kind of revolutionary thing, since it looks like their budget for this was way too small to do either. Feels like just a cynical nostalgia play to try to cash in on people who liked the old TH games, and sadly that isn't surprising at all.
