It's so weird that they would make an Amiibo-focused party boardgame that only supports the amiibos from one single series. Like, before seeing this I assumed it was a game to give people with amiibos something cool to use them for, but it's actually just an Animal Crossing game that gives special bonuses to amiibos for some reason.
This is a really good review. Or maybe I just really like people taking the opportunity to wax nostalgic about wrestling history.
Reads like it could just as easily have been 3 stars, considering all the successes you mentioned and the efforts towards Something Better. But hell, if it's just not fun to play then that's a killer.
@neozeon: The game's steam forums are exactly as bad as you'd expect them to be from the premise of Multi-player Co-op Community + Warhammer Fan Community. But in-game there's pretty much none of that, and people are plenty willing to help each other figure things out and work together.
You're really unlikely to encounter hostility, unless maybe you try to jump into higher difficulties right away without learning the mechanics and maps.
Oh my god the Disappointed Band Members aspect of this is AMAZING. And I normally can't stand playing FMV games, but that stuff is how you do it right.
