@brad As an authentic Norwegian, I can say "Velkommen til Skandinavia. Beklager at dere desverre har havnet i den tiende, og hittil ukjente, sirkelen av det Norrønske etterlivet..." Now, with that out of the way... fuck that Swedish pronunciation shit.
I'm not going to try to explain how to pronounce Valheim in old Norse (since the language has been gradually going extinct for the last 1000 years, anyway), but it sure as shit isn't similar to any modern Scandinavian language anyway, neither Swedish, Danish, nor Norwegian.
If anything, ask an Icelander. They insists on still speaking the same way the rest of us were doing around the time when sailcloth was still the latest word in nautical technology.
Re: Jeff, on coming to Demon's Souls after other Souls games.
I only played DeS for the first time this year, after having become a massive souls fan almost over night when Sekiro came out. I'd say going back to DeS, and seeing how much of the Souls DNA is in there was definitely a neat experience for me. Even the PS3 version holds up well (with a 60FPS patch on an emulator, at least), and I can't imagine this version being any worse. The devs have said they tried to keep as much of the original code base intact underneath the new models and animations, and you can definitely see that in enemy behaviours and AI.
Edit: Brad, Vinny... You know what you have to do. Breaking Brad: Demon's Souls Remaster.
