Play some Gears 2 Brad, I'm going back through the single player and enjoying it. Send a friend request for co-op or the Cole train will shed a tear, then come slap a grenade on your back.
I'll also be playing Left 4 dead and continue my personal Persona 3 endurance run.
Good for blizzard trying to get around piracy issues, bad for honest consumers who might miss this feature. Personally lack of LAN support means absolutely nothing to me
I would hope its not made by Bungie; If i play one more halo campaign where half the levels involve me backtracking through terrain and buildings I've already been through, I'll puke. The series needs a fresh studio to put a new take on the series.
I want to feel as powerful as a Spartan in that series should. I want realistic gravity when I jump (no floating like im on the damn moon), speaking of which if I'm a super soldier I should be able to jump higher (even if the suit weighs a ton). Close combat should involve more than just a butt to the head with my gun. I wanna unload a clip of ammo at my enemy, then throw the empty gun at a brute so hard it gives him a concussion!
Despite what I just said I'm a moderate halo fan, bought 2 and 3 on day 1 of release and enjoyed them greatly; but I want something newer and better.
Just like another use said, I gave up on most PC gaming after Half Life 2. I've played small stints with CIV IV and Gal Civ in recent years, but my laptop isnt getting any younger and I'm not gonna drop any kind of money on a new computer until I have idea for the specs for starcraft 2 and diablo 3 (the only PC games that could ever bring me back around)
If i get picked I'll send you guys one of those small disco balls to hang on the ceiling of the podcast room so when you guys have your "lights off" in the office days you can boogey down.
