The Crew was an interesting idea that failed to live up to expectations. It was a huge map but pretty boring with most of it being made up of fields/desert/mountains and I imagine you can make most of that with something like Speedtree and the cities themselves were tiny and lacking in any sort of detail. There's also the part where it's a racing game where the driving part doesn't feel very good. Even the story felt like it was from a by the numbers PS2 racing game so let's just say they had a lot to fix for The Crew 2 and it doesn't sound like it's entirely successful. The huge map is still there but just as lifeless as before, the driving still isn't good enough and they've replaced the revenge story of the first game with no story at all and it's just about wanting to become famous.

Ubisoft's games of late have had great post-launch support that have really turned the games around so I'm guessing we'll have to wait and see but I'd rather see great games from day 1 rather than waiting for months or even over a year to see that happen such as we saw with For Honor and Rainbow Six but I guess that's a trend for Ubisoft at this point.

15 minutes of new releases (some of which were known) and then 30 minutes of Smash. Not really a whole lot to get your teeth into if you're not a fan of Smash Bros.

@yummytreesap:

EA need to get back into people's good graces after the shit storm they created for themselves last year and Skate 4 would've been a huge swing in the right direction about listening to their fans but instead they spent a huge chunk of their presentation on a C&C mobile game. Yep, just what we were all clamouring for. Thanks EA, you're still shit. Also fuck the audience members that clapped for no loot boxes. We shouldn't have to celebrate not being scammed but that's modern games for you I guess.

Rival Schools was great, and Project Justice was even better. I got Project Justice, Power Stone 2, and Tech Romancer (Kikaioh) all around the same time

I hope one day we see some science applied to Project Justice and Tech Romancer. Probably in my top 3 most played games on the Dreamcast (Phantasy Star Online being first).

@lokez352: Is he doing it on purpose? Like, every fucking name he just gets wrong in a tiny way that makes my eye twitch. I'm loving their discovery of a show that meant so much to me as a young teen but man, Dan is taking a pretty simple show and weirdly overcomplicating things.
