Please keep the book spoilers out of this topic. I just got a complaint that TWO of you spoiled something from the books that has yet to happen in the show yet. Those comments have been removed. Dudes are coming in here to discuss last night's episode and then they're finding out what probably happens at the end of the season. This is not cool.
This thread is about the show. Please do not assume anyone else but you has read the books. Consider others' enjoyment of the show and the forums before you hit that submit button. All of the little coy half-spoilers should stop too...yeah, we understand that you know something the people watching the show don't know yet, but please keep it to yourself or clearly mark it in a spoiler tag. There are two users in particular who, for the benefit of everyone else, risk being asked to stop participating in this and all future Game of Thrones topics. Please just think about what you're saying so it doesn't come to that.
@evanfavreau: Me too. Dan's great, but it'll just be fucking embarrassing if the site ends up being eight white guys after this round of hiring.
Why? The whole point of the site is the dynamic. If a woman or a black guy isn't a better fit than a straight white male then they shouldn't be hired just because they are a woman or a black guy. Sure, if they're the best choice that's great and I'd be happy to have the perspective change. Most companies are mostly straight white guys.
Not really, I mean I am enjoying the game, but I get really nervous playing it, and so progress real slowly. I can't play for long stretches either. Immediately started grinding to calm myself and have pretty much only done that.
I will never be offended by anything in media unless it is somehow directly aimed at me. Fair enough some people will be, but i'm not in a position where something a video game character says will get me riled up.
I've probably only seen about ten episodes of the show, so i'm not getting any of the references. Still enjoying it though, there are enough jokes just within the game to make me laugh, which is more than can be said for most other 'funny' games. Only about 3 hours in also.
