Well, it's confirmed, if you imported from ME1, your ME2 character face won't import into 3

oh shit valve! Now that this is precedent, Id Software is going to come after you because Team Fortress was originally a quake mod, therefore it is expressly an Id Software product!

P.S. base rape was a totally legitimate gameplay result. This is conquest, we're fighting over conquering the map, and if one of the teams was victorious enough to control the entire map then they sure as hell deserve to invade the enemy in their base as a treat for their hard working keeping 8 flags under their control.

It's about time someone agrees with me on this, I am tired of people bitching about base camping. I mean, so what, allow them to come and take a flag?

My problem isn't so much camping base when all the flags are captured, it's the dudes who immediately make a bee-line to the enemy base and hide somewhere, killing people as they spawn and not helping their own team at all.

Now my problem is that characters are flickering (to extremes like this one) and constant crashing everytime it tries to load a new area.

@REIGN: Yep, same issues and a lot of people in the Steam forums are having the same issues as well with a variety of system set ups including ATI/AMD & Nvidia cards.

I'm about to install the ATI Rage Performance drivers but everyone in the Steam forums say it doesn't fix the problem and some say it makes things worse.

Man, this is disappointing.

I installed those, they don't do ANYTHING for any of the problems people are having

I don't care about the texture pop-in, having played plenty of unreal engine 3 games, but the constant texture flickering is making it unplayable.

Whole sections of the world disappearing, even the letterbox during cutscenes flickers in and out.

@vaportra1l: exactly what I was thinking. dedicated servers are awful when the only people who shell out for them have the worst taste.

@Nomin:  I think the PC audience isn't really "against" it going to consoles as well, the issue we take is more that battlefield had a very specific feel, wide open and very mobile, that was lost in the bad company series because of how narrow the choke points were.  Some maps released later on felt like the battlefield of yore, like Harvest and Heavy Metal, so it it goes more in that direction, there may be hope yet.
