The pyro that I freed left after I told him about great chaos fireball. Is there any other pyro in the game who can upgrade my flame?
It's not a huge deal as I'm mostly a melee class... but I've always used my pyromancy to help me out in certain situations and it sucks thinking I am stuck with a +0 flame.
Well, I did it. I decided to turn human and summon the NPC and saw I could also summon another player who had a sign down... That went extremely quickly, haha.
How do you summon the NPC? I went human and in my scramble to the boss door I did not see any kind of sign. Where should it be?
On the opposite side of the room before the boss, on the stairwell near the arrow shooter.

Just got a humanity. Came back. Summoned the knight and then summoned another guy too.
As for leaving, Open the big door in the room with the 2 big shielded guys before the boss (there is a lever near it), and then go back to Sen's Fortress the way you came. If you didn't do so already, one of the rooms near the boss of Sen's has two cages and one can be used as an elevator to the lower part of Sen's and a quick way back out to Undeadburg.

but at the same time... I want to just... get it done.
I'm in the same position. I kind of feel like I should go get stuff done in the other areas first though. (haven't done catacombs or anything yet).
I can get the big guy down but the big spear guy just 1 shots me every time with that stupid grapple attack.
I joined up with Alvina, the talking cat and and devoted to being a loyal bitch. Even killed someone for her. But one fine day, after coming back from being summoned to defeat Sif, I found myself getting +2000 from walking on across a bridge. I thought to myself "Oh fuck, did a forest toon walked off a cliff?". Like sure enough, I talked to Alvina and she said I betrayed the clan. What the fuck?! I didn't betray no one. Your freaking mushrooms just walked right off!
I just... Urgh. I'm going to be hunted now aren't I?
EDIT: Also, I got a Sunlight Medal from helping some guy kill Sif - even though I'm not part of that Sunlight convenant.
I'm in that covenant. Discovered yesterday I can hunt people who betray her when I wear the ring :D.
Just that reason is why I'll probably stick with it, haha.
Found a lightning spear, got it to +3. It's my main weapon now. Even though it does a little less damage than my black knight sword being able to keep your shield up is so much nicer.
Started to go through Anor Londo and got up to the 1st boss in that place.
Discovered that the ring you get from the forest covenant will randomly teleport you to someones world (as a black phantom) if they are in that forest area. I assume that it is for players who go in that area that broke the covenant by attacking the mobs there. Killed a few of the traitors =P.
That's about it really. Bunch of other small things (killed that undead dragon in valley of drakes, killed the hydra in the forest) and I have found a bunch of pretty cool loot.
My only problem right now is I am deciding if I want to try and enchant out this demon spear I found. It isn't as good as my +3 lightning spear right now... but it scales with stats (C str and C dex) where as the lightning spear doesn't scale at all. So I know it will be better eventually but I'm not sure when. I'm also not sure if I will find a *better* spear eventually or if it will be the best I will get.
