I want to play this game but some of the dialogue seemed a bit awkward. Reminded me a bit of the dialogue in L.A.Noire where the main character had these sudden mood swings in the middle of the interview.
While i honor the dedication of developing this game for 8 years I dont have any interest in actually playing it mainly because puzzle games arent my thing.
It is doing really well on steam atm being number 1 in the best selling games list. Hopefully Blow will get his money back from this game.
I dont really care that witcher 3 wasnt near the top spot. But witcher 3 is a pretty good game with a 93 metacritic rating and overwhelmingly positive rating from steam users (over 25000 user ratings). To hear Jeff, Dan and Brad among others talking about so dismissively about it is a tad too much.
They should have at least acknowledged that it might not be to their taste instead of just giving the impression like witcher 3 is one of the worst rpgs to come out this year. Though Dan took the cake by saying that witcher 3 isnt a video game since it is mostly story and dialogue based (which is probably one of the silliest things i have heard Dan say so far in these discussions)..
I must say that listening to the Giant Bomb staff saying that Witcher 3 storyline is repetitive and quests are boring is a bit annoying. Also listening to Dan complaining about dialogue in a RPG is quite amazing.
I quess it is better to have 300 sidequests which are just carbon copies of each other.
