He seems to prefer the plaid button down, but I have seen him in a gears of war hoody. He does have different colors and styles of plaid button downs. I am almost certain he wakes up every morning and pulls a new one out, similar to Mr. Rogers pulling out a different colored sweater every day.

O.S.I. (Kevin Moore formerly of Dream Theater and Jim Matheos of Fates Warning)

The Gathering

Flotsam & Jetsam

Toxik

Mostly metal as usual, although O.S.I. is fairly balanced between keys and guitar

Cool. The endings are alright, they have grown on me. I would have enjoyed seeing a bit more of an explanation at the end, as well as the Elcor fighting. However, I prefer bittersweet/downer endings to super happy ones. Life is rarely full of sunshine and blue babies. Besides, how else could the Reapers have been defeated? Head on fights won't work.

The loss of an immediate family member, living up to unattainable expectations, and working in retail are all things I know a lot about. I won't get to detailed, however, I will say that all you can do is accept who you are. What others perceive as limitations, such as not graduating, are not. Your father is deceased, and would rather you be happy and content rather than suffer trying to mimic who he was. If he was still alive I am sure he would accept you not graduating and not being who he was. He was your parent, that's his job haha. You probably will never save a cop from being beaten to death and you don't need to. Life has a way of working out, however, some things will take work on your end. The guitar and skateboarding and so on, those will become hobbies as you age. I would say put school on the backburner for now, and focus on work and yourself. Then once you feel comfortable with yourself, start dating. School can wait, and DO NOT dwell on high school years. That period of time is so damn pointless when it comes to what you did or didn't do. Your life starts after you get that diploma. Anyway, the dead suffer far less than the living and if you want to feel like you have done your father well, accept who you are and work on obvious areas such as improving your work habits and putting your life on track. It takes more strength to suck it up and keep moving on, but the payoff is worth it.

On the 360 the controls were not the best, but it is easily overlooked. The planet design and sense of investigating a planet whose only inhabitants were its' secrets was awesome. Some people may not enjoy a desolate planet where you can only hear the wind blowing across the fallow plains, but dammit I did. Plus it was more realistic, there are far more desolate planets in our galaxy than ones populated with intelligent life.

I was disappointed in the endings at first but they have grown on me. The game does seem to have been rushed and this ending was no doubt part of that. What baffles me is it seems like Bioware and EA don't want to make money off this franchise anymore, otherwise why destroy the mass relays? It does not make financial sense to kill off this franchise. This is the biggest thing Bioware has going for them right now, so why end it? Seesh, and here I thought the bottom line is what always mattered.

Earth in the beginning is really bad, other parts are janky. Odd that this game seems to have a worse sync than the first two. Sometimes a persons voice trails off also. I really like this game, but damn everything about it just feels rushed. Amazing that the time span between the 2nd and 3rd game didn't seem to help much.

I go back and forth on how I feel about the ending. I like this theory though, the choice after he/she has died. I also thought the first time through that Shepard probably died there, the light in his/her eyes goes out and then the white beam. Out of the 3 most likely theories: face value, indoctrination, and now afterlife, I feel this one is probably the closest to home.

They throw a bunch of stuff at you, but nothing from ME1 really bothers me as much as features from ME2 and ME3 do. Instead of fixing what was janky about 1, they stripped it out. To me ME1 will remain at the top of the Mass Effect heap, pop in textures and all.

The fact that these endings are causing so much discussion is what Bioware intended, and may mean they are merely controversial and not shitty. I blew up the Reapers due to The Catalyst seeming like he was manipulative, also out of greed to keep my life. Didn't work, but I tried.
