Newfangled

I was into this game's slow pacing, cool music, and good looks, and then... oh, right. Run into a room, shoot dozens and dozens of bullet-sponge enemies whilst being deafened by gunfire, run into another room, rinse repeat. Nope. I'd already had enough of this last summer when I burnt out on Destiny.

It does such a good job of establishing a believable world with that opening, and then instantly dismantles it with a load of arbitrary environmental restrictions (e.g. no respawn zones) and 'levels' for human enemies/areas. Disappointing, and not what I expected wanted this to be.

Finished it a few hours ago, came looking for a Quick Look. Pretty sure this is my GOTY! Hit all the right notes for me. Napstablooooook 0_0

Edit: Hah, actually, I can't stomach the editing. Had to stop watching. GB content is watchable because it's laid back. Every time there's a cut to 'speed up the action' it's jarring and gratingly YouTube-y. What a bust.

But y'kno, [Extended HD Gameplay], am I right?
