@newfangled: The mouth noises are really bothering me too. Might have to stop listening for a while if they don't address it.
Agreed. To be completely truthful, I've had to turn off the last few weeks' 'casts once it became too much. Turns out mouth noises are hugely off-putting.
I can't stop hearing all the lip-smacking and saliva and cheek-squelching in the more recent Bombcasts, and it's super gross. Did they get new mics, or start sitting way closer to them? Maybe it's just me. I can't un-hear it. It's like listening someone eating food with their mouth open.
THANK YOU. Something has changed about their pop-filter / EQ / compression situation. Jason especially sounds like he has a mouth full of oatmeal. :X
I have an EQ extension plugged into my browser to make lip-smacky podcasts more listenable. It isn't perfect, but I suggest you try that until things get worked out on their end.
Bombcast used to have great audio until very recently. Come on guys! You're better than this! :p
Do you think you could link me to that extension, please?
I know--it's too HQ. I don't need to hear everything fleck of spittle hitting the pop filter! Too raw for me.
EDIT: Is there any chance of you taking this into consideration in future recordings, @brad? No offence meant to Jason.

Pacific Rift was the best racing game of last gen. Sorry if that stings but it's true.
Catch me at the right time, and there's a good chance I'd agree with this. I liked the original MS a great deal, too. What a 'wow' moment that was on the (then) new systems. Apocalypse was a big misstep, however.
Unsurprisingly, when Dan is actually being real-person Dan and not hamming it up, he's capable of participating in an engaging debate with the boss. Good QL.
Would've been one of GB's best videos were it not for the insufferable Track IR. Bad decision. I don't know why they didn't ditch it once they realised it was going to continue jumping all over the place.
