Next to playing on the Official Runescape servers, there are also many Runescape Private servers (RSPS). Not all botting clients work with private servers or even have the ability to access them. Safe Place For Private Runescape Servers In this post, we will look into the options for an RSPS bot to get you started.
Picking a client
Currently, there are three known RSPS clients operating.
1. https://simplebot.org/
2. https://www.parabot.org/
3. https://xobot.org
All these clients for Runescape private server bots have their own strengths and weaknesses. However, they mostly come down to what you actually need. All the RSPS botting clients use Java API so you can write your own scripts for the client. This means that if your desires script is not available to the client, you could make it yourself or have someone make it for you.
zaros rsps bot
One of the most popular Runescape private Servers is Zaros (https://zaros.io/). This private server is well known for its big amount of players and recent updates. Updating on this server can provide you with a lot of benefits, however, not all botting clients work with this server. Luckily Simplebot Works.
Ikov rSPS Bot
If you are looking to bot on Ikov I would recommend going with Parabot (https://www.parabot.org/ ). Parabot has a big variety of different scripts that can get you started quickly.
Zenyte RSPS bot
Zenyte is only supported by Simplebot so in this case, you have no other choice to go with Simplebot. That said SimpleBot is amazing at what it does. The scripts work well and you are easily able to get some good progress.
Tips for RSPS botting
I would recommend using a VPN or Proxies to keep your accounts safe and never bot on your main account (unless you don’t mind the risk of it getting banned). Safebin Runescape Private servers also ban accounts if they are suspected of botting. Personally, I think the risk is way lower than on the official Runescape client but I would still not take the risk.
Technical Analysis of RSPS Bot clients
Open Source RSPS Bot
Parabot’s client is actually open-source and can be found on (https://github.com/Parabot/Parabot). The great advantage of this is that you can take a look at the inner workings of the botting client to check if nothing malicious is going on. This gives extra trust to the project. Normally I would not recommend going for an open-source Runescape botting Client as Jagex could easily detect it and ban you, but in the case of private servers, this shouldn’t matter that much.
Let’s take a look at the simplebot.org API documentation found on their website (https://simplebot.org/docs/). When making your own script you are mostly interested in the hooks “simple.hooks.filters” package.
Inside this package, we find a lot of classes with methods that can help you quickly build your own script. Most of the functionality is already written for you and as with most clients you just have to connect the dots with some logic.
Private RSPS bot scripts
Most clients for RSPS botting are limited in their scripts and the communities are typically not as big as with the official botting clients like Dreambot. Luckily as stated above you could easily create your own script. I understand that most people don’t really know how to make one or have no background in programming in Java. Luckily for you, we have a big community of scriptwriters who do know how to create and quickly. Most of them are willing to help you out for a small fee. Visit our Reddit page to place a request.
