I adored the reboot and thought 4 was terrible but the trailer is winning me over anyway. Lightning robot arms > demon arms I guess. Along with FromSoftware's new game I'm calling it: Year of the Mechanical Arm?
Echoing what was said over at Waypoint, it is such an awful look for EA to run their press conference with the executives running victory laps about brighter futures of listening to communities while shoving the hard working developers and game designers out there on stage to focus on making apologies over business models and make promises about no loot boxes.
That needs to be switched around given what the internal dynamics of game development are.
It seems like its just a bad quick look. As though in the interest of avoiding spoilers Jeff avoided showing off the game as it is and instead loaded up a finished game save file and did some aimless wandering and a d-tier side quest of clearing out a cave. As someone avoiding spoilers- especially of the awesome robot dinosaur design variety type- I appreciate it. I guess the review is supposed to tell people about the overall quality.
I'm with Dan surprisingly, the left over milk is a byproduct of activating the cereal. Dry cereal isn't food, combining them isn't a choice, its a necessity. Once the cereal is eaten the milk has served its purpose. You can drink the sugarmilk after if you want but that's a second meal.
Wow, Hitman the surprise victor. I guess I have to get it now - never played a Hitman before. Good thing season 1 is heavily discounted on psn right now. Definitely did not expect Vinny and Drew to end up arguing for it to win when they both had Doom number one on their personal lists, but Jeff made some compelling arguments. Alex backing up Jason also convinced me to go back and finish hyperlight drifter which I gave up on before any of the updates.
Stardew is the GOTY of my heart so thrilled to see it make the team. I can not wait to see the community list and how it compares.
Final fantasy VI music was an amazing goof- but the more I listened, the more I realized it actually is better than any music in games i played this year.
