I was really looking forward to buying it again until they said they would just be doing a straight port without any improvements. I can't imagine that there will still be slowdowns in blight town on a high-end system, but it's going to look like ass without higher resolution textures. It shouldn't be left to the community to do that sort of thing.

If you're going to take a week off, doing it during E3 isn't so bad. I don't care much for E3 anymore but if you're psyched for it, why not?

I still play consoles for exclusives but have been mainly using my PC since buying my first graphics card years ago. I think anyone that's willing to dump $800 into a computer will be more than satisfied with their purchase. Even a $200 graphics card will produce far and away the most beautiful graphics you have ever seen and will have more power than the next generation of consoles.

The only thing that ever really bothers me about PC gaming is bad ports, but the customizability of most games far outweighs any drawbacks. Also, if your computer is good at games, it's good at just about everything. Having a fast computer to mess around on is pretty nice.

Odd to hear you have issues like these. Luckily the game runs perfectly on my system.

They could definitely make things interesting without even involving school. I'm not sure I care too much either way though.

I used Thane and Samara pretty much the entire game. They were my favorite characters and they both had useful abilities, so why not? I used a bunch of different combinations on the first Mass Effect though because I played through it so many times.

I just got Alan Wake for the PC (which is amazing). Next will probably be Mass Effect 3.

Good, maybe their pretentious bullshit over-romanticized writing will cease to exist, it's like a fucking plague at this point.

It's not going anywhere. Cheap romance is basically Bioware's defining quality for a lot of people now. Just look at the way that they tout all the romance options in Mass Effect 3 as an important feature. As long as those creeps on their official forums remain, we'll be stuck with that shit. OBSIDIAN! SAVE US FROM BIOWARE! PLEASE!

No one can save you now.
