The only huge banner I see on Steam is for Fallout New Vegas.
For the people that intend to get it, it's nice that they seem to plan to unlock it for people buying on Steam at the same time as people buying in stores. MW2 bought from Steam was unlocked a week later than retail copies, even though the retail copies go through Steam too.
@DarkWaterSong: Unless you're referring to the in-game stuff, the GFWL client is the marketplace and downloader, so of course it uses less memory.
Actually being able to see what games and DLC is available and how much it costs is a step in the right direction, but it just feels like it's too late. Many people have decided that they don't like GFWL and don't want to give it a second chance.
Any chance of them bringing that improved voice chat to GFWL? 'Cause in my experience the sound quality on the voice chat in GFWL is really bad. Provided the volume on it isn't so low that you can't hear it at all. Bah, who am I kidding? Microsoft doesn't care about GFWL.
