I don't mind his voice much. I think the quality of his voice in his reviews have come a long ways since his early days at GS. Compared to his early days, when his reviews sounded unrehearsed, awkward and jumbled together, his most recent Spore review on IGN sounded pretty smooth and professional.

I just googled it and you're right. He left around February. Wow, talk about being out of the loop. =D

I did a search for this and couldn't find anything so I apologize in advance if this has already been posted. I clicked on IGN's review for Spore and found that it was written by Jason Ocampo, who wrote for GS. Anyone know how long he's been at IGN for? This one was totally news to me.

I'm sorry to hear that. I really looking forward to this game.  I was hoping that, overall, it would at least compare to Gran Turismo 4 or Forza 1.

I guess no on else aside from us cares about the Wii version of the game. :(

I think I'm going to return my Wii copy back to the store (it's still unopened) and just hold out until I can afford a PS3.

I went out and purchased the game yesterday but have not yet gotten around to opening it. From the box, it looks like there's no online play but it does have support for the nunchuk. No support for the GC or Classic Controller apparently which is shame since that rules out analog acceleration and braking. The PS3 version looks badass, but I don't own one yet. This game really makes me want to buy one though.

Does anyone own the Wii version of this game and can comment about it?

Has anyone here played or know anything about Ferrari Challenge for the Wii? I'm wondering specifically about its control scheme. Is motion-based control going to be it's only offering or does it support the analog sticks on the Classic or GC Controllers as well? If I owned a PS3, I'd be all over that version with no doubt. But since I only own a Wii at the moment, I thought I'd go ahead and inquire about that version instead. If no one knows, then I guess I just may have to take one for the team and spend $50 on this one and see for myself. -_-

I heard that the October edition of Nintendo Power reviewed this game and gave it a 7.5 and mentions 'If it's a serious racer you seek, this is the best ride in town.' Can anyone who has that issue offer some more highlights from the review? I think this game is so far below the radar that it may be a while before sites like GB, IGN and GT get around to reviewing it.

Man that lip puckering thing looks incredibly stupid. It must be some sort of trend for people to appear more 'hardcore.' Except for Zoolander of course. ;)
