I know the pain of a garage that otherwise served as a dumpster of things I didn't want to throw away, and then finally having to do something about it because I wanted to actually use the space.
Good luck to you Jeff! It will be totally worth it when you're done.
Jeff reminds me of my friend who is being driven to the point of insanity trying to powergame too hard on Animal Crossing, the quintessential anti-powergaming game.
All the time spent on the technical benefits of SSD drives over HDD was so pointless and ridiculous. Every single person who would even understand what he is talking about would already be very familiar with and be using SSDs. Like someone made this presentation 5 years ago and decided now was the time to show it.
@maitom: I think you're missing the point that someone is charging for a service to install and run games that they do not own. You can install, run, and stream the game from all of your own devices as you choose, because you own it, but Nvidia does not own your copy of the game.
Nvidia should absolutely be on the hook to pay a royalty to the developer for making money off games they don't own.
The UPF cuss complication totally reminds me of my job every time someone decides to randomly bring their kid to the office. Basically catching ourselves the first few times and then after that everyone kind of stops giving a shit.
I agree with Jeff that this game was better without world chat. Stealer bullying and try-hard meta chasers calling out players who steal at tier X level kills the whole game.
I remember when they first played this, someone said it was meant to be played real-time along with the movie. How is that supposed to work? Does the movie just end at some point and you continue along with the game?
I can think of at least two characters in the game that either end up dead or are definitely not going to be in the place you find them in the game within 2 hours of normal playtime, so you'd have to speed run it for that to work. I doubt that's considered how the game was meant to be played.
