Damn this game is ugly. In every possible aspect. It looks like a bad Russian knock off, like the Motor Rock of Mega Man games. Edit: That would be giving it too much praise, they sure as hell didn't copy any good aspect of old Mega Man.
While they showed the cringey Wildlands demo I was thinking, it could be really cool if co-op didn't have any hud indicators at all. So you had to gather intel, look for the white SUV etc. Maybe it just becomes an ARMA game at that point...
All the teraflops jokes aside, Phil's pretty damn good at what he does. He glazed over it very quickly, but his mention of Forza Apex in 4K leading them to the 6 TFLOPS figure made it much more convincing than a stupid buzzword. Apex has dynamic scaling of every single graphics option which is what I think they'll go for with Scorpio.
How could they go from 13, one of the best looking fighting games ever, to this? I guess it's ok if it plays well. I hope they make it a little more accessible to noobs like me, 13 felt insanely hard compared to the alternatives.
Uh what? They made it ubi-open world? That's extremely disappointing to hear. Also I thought they said they ditched the combat completely? Or was that just guns?
