NBA Ballers Chosen One- It was 5 dollars...im a sucker for good deals. I'm a fairly big fan of the franchise, and wanted to check this one out.5 bucks.
Wireless mic- 40 dollars in all. Thats 25 I saved. Great deal. I needed a new mic, because my old one is slowing dieing.
Impressions- Feels really odd around my ear. I sound really quiet, which might be a good thing :P and its really fickle about syncing with my xbox. It also becomes unsynced at random times.
Wall battery charger- 21 bucks. Free quick shipping. I need something to charge my battery packs for my wireless controllers. I got that something. Because who wants to use a wireless mic with a wired controller?
Impressions- Well...it charges batteries....it plugs into the wall....it works.
So I was mentioned in the Bomb Should Have A Face Podcast. (iTunes link) (What I'm talking about starts around the 26th minute?) Unfortunately, it was because of that whole Dual Reaver controversy around a week ago. Yeah, it sucks what happened, but I think I should address some things.
1. Thanks for the couple guys on the podcast who supported me, and realized what I was doing. It wasn't serious, at all.
2. I said something about mod's that pissed ALOT of people off. I think it was along the lines of that MB is the only forum mod. To tell you the truth, I didn't even realize that I said it. I don't re-watch my videos, because well....I was there when they were made. So I would have edited that out if I would have caught it. I obviously do not really believe that. And I'm sorry if I offended anyone on that front.
I've talked to MB himself about it, and he said he was not offended at all. He understood what I meant. People just got offended for him.
It's funny, because everything else I said in the video, Dual said as well. So the fact that people were all up in arms at me was ironic. But when you post stuff on the internet, its liable to happen. MUST BREAK UP BIG BLOG OF TEXT
3. Someone on the podcast mentioned that once I put it on the internet, then its open to ridicule. And I totally agree. I felt that some comments got out of hand, and it all snowballed. He called the video "sucky" and ok I accept all feedback. If you don't like my vids, then don't want them. Plain and simple. It's not like your forced to.
4. It's over, there was never any nasty pm's in the background. Truthfully, it looked a lot worse then it was. Luckily it has gone away.
But what hasn't gone away is the fact that mods were apparently spying on the IRC while this was all going on. (according to the podcast) This sucks, and I believe personally that it was not needed. I don't know who it was or what happened. But I assume that SOOO many random people found out about the blog because of the IRC.
Like mentioned in the podcast, mods should be users too. There shouldn't be this big battle between us and them. If were friends, then we all will be happier.
So yeah, this is the last your ever probably hear about this. I just wanted you to get my side. It's over, done, never going to come back.
Sucks that my first mention on the podcast was semi negative. Glad that at least some of the people on the podcast (sorry I don't really know who is who besides matt) understood what happened.
Sorry for all the people sick of this, but this was just something I had to get off my chest.
I really enjoy that podcast, and listen to it regularly. Keep up the good work guys.
I'm trying something new, where I give you my recent pros and cons of gaming and well, life in general. I got this idea from GameInformer, on that page where the staff of the magazine is shown. They give there current likes and dislikes about the world.
Pros
- Having no expectations for the Force Unleashed....and loving it.
- Finding cheap xbox 360 harddrives on ebay. Angy Video Game nerd!
- Working for a tight gaming website boss.
- That boss giving you free beta codes and microsoft points for your birthday.
- Having extra spending money, thanks to a job.
- Having 8-9 games that I extremely want to buy.
- Getting free beta codes, either because of nice friends, or because I was on the forums at the right place at the right time. (Thanks to John, dcpc10, and EpicSteve,)
- TV right now. The Office, Criminal Minds, and South Park especially right now.
- Gamefly pulling through, and sending me both the games I wanted.
-GamePortrait.com finally dropping sometime early this week.
- The amazing cutscenes in the Force Unleashed
- Beating my friends at a game I've never played before (Cod3) on I system I've barly played before (Ps3)
- Finding out about GameTrailers.com, more specifically, the Gods at ScrewAttack.com.
Cons
- The huge dilemma on what to buy, and what not to buy.
- Getting outbid for cheap hard drives for the xbox 360 as I type this blog.Sackboy's not happy.
- LBP getting delayed, though the reason is definitely acceptable.
- People blaming the LBP delay on the Islamic faith, instead of the LBP developers.
- Those free beta codes I get on the forums not working...damn you skunk.
- Anticipating the dreaded level on Star Wars when I have to take down the star destroyer.
- My bluetooth headset not really working with my ps3.
- Spending way to much money on ebay...the shits addicting!
- Losing game after game in Age of Booty. I must suck.
- Not having time to play all these games.
- Not being able to finish a race in Burnout Paradise without going the wrong way at least one time. Must suck at the game too.
-That same boss getting a free 120 gig hard drive, while I would have to pay 150 bucks for one.
Oh yeah, and Age of Booty is awesome! Im 121st in the world!

Late to the party.Well I made a couple videos, but they turned out long, and boring. I figured I could give you an update way quicker then an 8 minute video. So here I go.
Gamefly pulled through and sent me Star Wars: The Force Unleased. I realize I'm a tad late to the party, but I've been looking forward to playing this one for a while.
Also I sold Guitar Hero 3, Orange Box, and Drakes. Let me explain.
Guitar Hero 3- I'd consider myself a Rock Band guy now. I'm almost music gamed out at this point, and GH3 was collecting dust thanks to RB2.
Orange Box- I love Portal. You don't need the Orange Box to play Portal Still Alive. I think I've said enough.
Drakes- Amazing game. Loved it. Would never play it again though. But, if you haven't checked this game out though, I would definitely recommend it.
I bought a couple new games from ebay, but I'll make a video unboxing type thing for that.
I have nothing to play right now. Every time I put in a game I find myself taking it out 5 minutes later, and throwing another random one in. This is probably due to all the new stuff coming out. I just can't get my mind off those games, and all the old games just seem....well old.
Expect a shit load of new videos when all the new games come out, I'll have a lot to talk about.

So apparently somebody thought it would be funny to purchase the domain of Steves site. Obviously it was somebody from this site. I have a couple people that I suspect did it, but I'm not pointing fingers.
Sucky thing is, Steve was just about to buy the domain name. So I really don't know what hes going to do from here.
I just think its sad people find enjoyment from doing stuff like this.

I'm currently downloading the beta for LBP! Thanks alo tto dcpc10 for the code. Really nice guy. I can't wait to play that game. Can't wait.

Also just made the most impulse buy of my life. For 21 dollars I bought a bluetooth headset. There was 30 seconds left on the
auction, and it was cheap...so I bid. Luckily its what I wanted, because to be truthful, I wasn't all that sure. I was actually on the
phone with James, as I cursed multiple times hoping I would get outbid. It's coming in two to three days, and I hopeful that
it works well with the ol ps3...or should I say new ps3.
Did I mention I bought it as I was typing...so you heard it here first!
Wish me luck on that one.
Oh yeah and also finally got the socom beta code...just in time to play it for one day. It ends tomorrow. lol Thats life.
