Just fyi the Youtube video's section for Dying Light 2 is mislabeled as Dead by Daylight which is an entirely different game...had me very confused about the Halloween event.
The draw of Dune series is the lore and the scale and the weird science of it to me and I wish that was conveyed better visually in this game. This just looks like a 4x game using Dune made assets, but to me it doesn't capture the epic scale of Dune. This sort of is a bummer for me to watch, I was really hoping to see something really cool to watch and eventually play. Homeworld did a better job visually with making a world that would be better suited for Dune.
This looks really cool, maybe not super impressive, but it's nice to know what this game is now and while it may look a tad bit lame in some aspects, the art direction and setting is going to be enough to capture me. I'll 100% game pass this game when it finally comes to Xbox.
So since Ben couldn't get the job done, Vinny and Jan are the ones tasked for giving us this abomination of a story telling experience. I'm here for it.
This looks good, but wow that 70 dollar price tag is a huge miss for me. I wouldn't say this a next generation looking, but it looks good nonetheless. I'm always down for rogue-likes and this one looks interesting enough to try out,, but that new hefty price tag that PS5 games come out at....sheeeeeesh, that's a hard pass for me.
