@qrdl: Launch Steam Link then just close "Big Picture Mode". The Steam Link/controllers etc all still work and it'll just stream whatever is on the desktop.
this or also maybe add the game into your steam library as non-steam game.
I never managed to make that work with UPlay games, but that was around 2 years ago with AC: Unity. Also, I was actually steam streaming to another PC without Steam Link, but I always assumed it worked the same way.
I will buy this game anyway and I'm not averse to spending a couple of hours on making it work.
If they had enlarged spawn distance or added a timer, it would have been fine.
This would solve the only problem I have with FC2. And actually this problem was only bothering me in the first half of the game. Once I acquired better guns and got used to combat dynamics I started recklessly jumping into every fight, no matter the consequences.
It's a pity that this game looks so dated now. Even when it released it looked gray and desaturated compared to Crysis.
@soulcake: Seems I might mean World music then? I was not sure how to label it really, and "folk" was the first thing that came to mind. And thanks for reminding me that Mongolian throat singing is a thing!
I think it is actually called "folk" outside the anglophone sphere, or maybe even everywhere outside US.
Also, personal recommendation: Warsaw Village Band (Warning! a lot of youtube uploads of this band's music seem to be TERRIBLY compressed, don't know why)
If you want to ogle all the graphics than get Crysis 3, Witcher 3, Rise of the Tom Raider and Quantum Break. I've been playing the latter over the last several days and it's quite shocking how good this game looks. I haven't seen such natural lighting anywhere else.
Also Far Cry: Primal for the sometimes striking nature.
