It's pretty funny how in the video they say the combat is extremely early and the resolution is lower on social screen, yet people are still shocked when the combat looks clunky and early and the resolution we see is low. Duders, I'm just glad we got to see SOMETHING and I'll trust Brad's experience which he seemed positive about.

@dannyhibiki: Haha, sorry, I didn't mean to come off strong. I thought you wanted to discuss this point since you commented about it, but it's all good.

@dannyhibiki: Uh, doesn't the nature of your argument preclude it from being relevant? People involved in the creation of FE: Fates DID decide it wasn't right for this region. A person who wasn't involved in the creation of the product couldn't have possibly made the decision to remove this feature for NA release, because that would mean they were involved in the creation of the game. At the end of the day, it's up to the dev-team and their bosses to decide what goes in the game. Janine certainly didn't cut this feature from the game, and neither did anyone who commented for or against the feature.

Also, if you're implying that localization teams aren't involved in the creation of the game, I think you're wrong.

@slaker117: I feel the same way. For me, it's because the Witness has its roots in logic where Fez is more like "traditional" video game puzzles. To me, at least.

I really love the wording "He can make content for us". Does that mean we might get more of @turboman's expert editing in other formats?! Extremely exciting! Congrats, duder!

@kasaioni: Realistically, Peace Walker was the most well-thought-out plan for world peace. Total deterrence by way of AI, so that no human could have a hand in it. Hot Coldman fucked it up, natch, but Huey's initial design for the Peace Walker system was a pretty solid one. If no one can control who nukes who except for an AI that always nukes back, nobody nukes anybody.

Theoretically.

@surfincoffin: It's really just a shame hearing that Drew was angry going in to the cutscene and lamenting how the mission was frustrating. I wish he had really committed to upgrading his gear for optimal fighting power if he wanted to go through the game guns blazing. Like you mentioned, this really is the only Metal Gear game you can play however you want, and yet Drew mostly puts arbitrary limits on his playstyle. I hate to harp on Drew's playing since I know it's pretty annoying for the guys when people backseat game, but I really just wish I could say to him: Hey, man, upgrade your guns if you want to fight.

@surfincoffin: That's the thing that's sad - I played very stealthily for the entire game and got by just fine with the sneaking suit and tranq gun, plus some sleep grenades and decoys. If Drew wants to play guns blazing, it's really imperative that he upgrades stuff. Stealth missions require basically no upgrades.
