I'll be the outlier and say moderate-to-high chance of some sort of MK9 port gracing any of the next gen consoles...Wii-U included. With the PC version available the (alleged) amount of work need to get it running on PS4 is small. I doubt it will have a retail boxed release, but a XBone Arcade/PS4N release with uprez-ed graphics makes fiscal sense considering how popular the title was/still sort of is with the Kommunity.

I'm sorry man but day one pre-orders are done and idk about any other pre-orders at least for this year. Maybe in January ps4 will be readily available in stores but they have over 1 million pre-orders i dont see them pumping out so many systems that they will re-open pre-orders

More or less this. I have some faith that Sony will have a decent number out in December in NA...but except a hell of a fight to secure one with crazed Holiday shoppers on the loose.

I "moved out" when I started to attend university five hours from my parent's home in Dallas. Mom and Dad were footing the tuition and room/board bill---i'll admit---but they had zero sympathy of any non-education charge coming across their credit statement from me. So I worked a part-time for "fun" money, which I self-taxed back to my parents as a gesture of gratitude for what they did.

I became completely financially independent at 21...after graduating and starting my career in the healthcare field.

Word on the web is that the next generation versions will be locked at 720p/60FPS with 64 players. How solid the framerate will actually be remains a mystery until release/review embargo. (source: http://n4g.com/news/1364054/ea-dice-aims-to-achieve-the-same-framerate-and-resolution-for-battlefield-4-on-xbox-one-and-ps4).

I suspect your PC will do better. BF4 is recommending a quad core second-gen Intel (check), 4 GB Ram/8 GB Ram for 64-bit systems (check) and Geforce 600 or AMD Radeon HD 7000 series (...not check). Needless to say, you won't max out BF4 but at 1080p you'll likely get a respectable framerate in the high 40s-60 on high settings. I played BF3 on an AMD x6, HD 6970 and 8 GB RAM DDR3 with no problems at that resolution. My new rig (i7 3770k, 16GB RAM, HD 7970GHZ) is pulling 60 FPS at 1080p on the BF4 BETA (barring the nasty server side issues plaguing everyone).

Another consideration to keep in mind is that the next generation consoles are powered by AMD infrastructure, meaning your 6950 might pull through for a bit longer than NVIDIA's equavalent. You'll likely want to consider an upgrade next year though...perhaps even a rebuild if budget allows it.

I have the G110 and its a decent keyboard...it doesn't have that LCD display that the G510 has, but as far as the basic keyboard functionality goes, I am very content with it. I've had it for almost a year now and it has held up very nicely.

Same here. No problems with G110 a year into service.

Unless Watch_Dogs turns out to be even better than the GB crew hope/predict; 2013's Game of the Year will likely be a two horse race between Bioshock Infinite and GTA V. I see Bioshock taking it.

Gone Home will sweep up the story category for sure. And FC3: Blood Dragon for the Ryan T Davis Memorial Award

I haven't had much difficulty evading the 5-0 in GTA V. You can usually outgun them on an open road/swerve in-and-out of traffic to cause the police AI to drive into paralyzed traffic and then just drive around carefully monitoring your mini-map for back-up.

I do wish that the game had a clock/degenerative iconography for how much long the pursuit will continue...much like in Saint's Row. I might just be impatient, but it takes forever to clear a two star rating when hidden.

You're gonna miss school one day.

This. In spades. I remember my first year post-college-graduation being a real bummer.

In all seriousness, you are an adult. Make your own decision and live by it. Sounds like you will not penalized too much for skipping today, so in the grand scheme of things this choice won't even matter that much.

I rarely skipped classes in college...considering that was equivalent to burning a sizable handful of cash for giggles.
