I wish Drew could do content with anyone else. Demo Derby, Metal Gear Scanlon, Film and 40s. It's getting to be a bit much.
That's mostly because Dan seems to be the one in the west office to most frequently come up with ideas for new series. Demo Derby, MGScanlon, Film and 40's, Mario Party Party, Eye Of The Ryckert, and Danswers are all his ideas as far as I know.
I'd probably be more sympathetic if indie developers would stop going to the Phil Fish School of Public Relations.
What, calling out gamers for being the winy, insufferable, entitled children that they are?
The comments of this (fantastic) article are evidence as to why they shouldn't be treated with respect - like the medium, it's fans are still in a juvenile stage and it'll be some time before the medium and it's fans can be considered "Adult".
So developers throw fits when their game is unsuccessful, while people are saying they should get free money from the government to make their games, and the gamers are the entitled ones? Give me a break! The biggest group of entitled people when it comes to games are indie developers like Tale of Tales that make faux artsy crap and think gamers are obligated to buy it. There are good indie developers that make good artistic games that you don't hear whining on Twitter because their games are actually worth buying. Maybe certain developers should try that strategy instead.
It's one thing to discuss diversity in gaming, but to keep a tally on the ethnicity, gender, age, and weight of every character and presenter seems like too much to me.
If you are playing the PS2 version of Persona 3, play 3 first. Persona 4 has the ability to directly control all characters in your party, but in 3, you only directly control the main character while setting the others on a play style. It can be a little annoying going back to that if you play P4 first. Whatever one you play first, you should play both, because if you like one you'll probably like the other.
