@seppli: Congrats! Don't see too many legendary torches around, Rodgort looks pretty sick. Also the wiki pointed out to me that Rodgort is Trogdor spelled backwards; that alone has me wanting it despite not having a character that uses torches regularly.

You know you like the compulsion and self-imposed nightmare, which legendary is next on the list? Kudzu? Twilight? Kamohoali'i Kotaki?

This really is the most important thing in terms of long term MMO enjoyment. I played WoW on and off (mostly on) for about 5 years, and it was really only during the few weeks around expansions where I was playing primarily for the game itself. After that the main thing that kept me playing was the guild that I had been a part of since vanilla and the people in it. It's surprising how quickly doing the same thing over and over again can go from extremely boring to really fun when you've got a bunch of people hanging out and acting like idiots having mature intelligent discussions in chat or on mumble.

I also think one of the nice things about GW2 is that it really allows you to start and stop playing as you feel like it. If you get bored it's pretty easy to stop and come back a few months later to new stuff without being behind in any significant way - unlike other MMOs where you may come back woefully under-geared and unable to participate in new stuff.

All that being said, I am hoping that we see some more actual game-play content coming from ArenaNet now that they are through the main holiday stuff.

I take all of my screenshots very seriously.

It seems like most of the outcry to this is from people over estimating the impact of this update, and unfounded pessimistic speculation about future updates. Personally I'm going to stick with the more calm and rational path of waiting to see how it plays out.
