I think that video just about has me sold on the game. I told myself after 5 years of WoW that I was done with MMOs, but man this looks like a really awesome evolution of the formula. I still want to get an idea of what the end-game will be like, but it looks like it may be worth playing just for this type of stuff.

I feel like I read somewhere a while back that From Software is against the idea of DLC, and had no plans on making any for Dark Souls, can't find any good sources on that though. I suppose those reports could have been wrong or their opinions changed, but I'm really hoping for a PC version.

Cheesy as it was, the "clap your hands if you believe" moment at the end of Okami got to me (no tears, but close to it). The music during that part was just amazing.

You know, the really funny thing isn't that it's fake. The really funny thing is that Voldo is so, so much worse in Soul Calibur V.

Looks like I've found my Halloween costume for this year.

The only significant issue I've had is with the shadows in the game. I have a pretty high end PC that should run it maxed out, but with shadows at the highest setting I see some significant fps drops in indoor and intricately lit areas. I bump the shadows down one level, however, and the fps never drops. Additionally, no matter what setting I have it on the shadows look really jagged and do some weird flickering stuff.

I certainly agree about Dead Space. It has a few good jump scares and intense moments, but the action is the real heart of the game. Now Amnesia on the other hand, holy shit. The first monster encounter in Dead Space is scary because you have no weapons; in Amnesia you don't have any weapons or ways of fighitng the enemies for the entire game.
