Apropos of nothing.. Grease was one of the FEW VHS casettes we had when I was growing up so I watched that movie dozens of times as a child and.. I dunno, the singing was fun and the hotrods to my child brain were awesome. Somehow I just glazed over the rest of it.
I do remember as a child not understanding why Sandy started to vomit after getting her ears pierced (it was the sight of blood) so for years after I thought getting your ears pierced was some incredibly traumatic experience.
See, I heard it as Abby referring to the country of Greece and the Greek Aqueducts, and Dan immediately thinking the movie Grease.
