I have no problem with that as long as he is not promoting some kind of wierd agenda through the game. It is not a crime to have wierd political beliefs. I think the eve management had the right idea to just absolve all the disscussion and just keep that BS out of the game.

@steveurkel:

Mate you need to track down a greater potion recipe to start using the extra ingedients. You might be able to unlock the recipe by using the experiement function so you can get it early. You will find the greater recipes in shops as you get farther in the game. I have been using might/sorcery with greatsword and its really fun. Once I got bloodlust I became stupidly more powerful if you can get the first couple kills off to activate it. Also, the lightning spells comboed with the might skill that gets you +damage to stunned enemies is very strong.

Does anyone think that alyn could be lulu from final fantasy 10's cousin or relative? Its the belts! Theres so many it just boggles the imagination. Who decides to just strap on belts on top of their belts?

But seriously, I found alyn to be one of the few interesting characters from the game in terms of personality. Its like she has one up on everyone and every faction in the game.

@BrockNRolla:

I suppose magic gets good once you get either mark of flame or ice barrage to do direct damage. Also, a good pair of chakrams is very useful. If you go might/magic then the heal spell can be super useful. I would definately recommend hard difficulty because on normal mode you can just walk up and smack everything without ever blocking or using combos. I started on hard mode and the game is actually getting even easier as I get better geared and have more abilities.

I have been using might and magic down an even split. My character uses might armor and mage gloves most of the time. I think its pretty fun. I play mostly melee with a greatsword and use ice barrage and the lightning spell to combo with and do damage. There is a nice combo with the lighting that in its second tier it gets a chance to stun. There is a might talent that gives you extra damage to stunned targets so thats a good synergy. I mainly use a greatsword and staff/chakrams.

Really you can do fine with any build but make sure your points are evenly distributed so you get the fate cards at a lowest level as possible.

I think it all has to do with marketing and consumer options for the most part. I mean, its not like there are many people clammoring to buy japanese movies and games in the USA except for a niche audience. I expect it is similar in japan where you have a small group of people who are aware of western games but the mainstream is mostly unaware of them. Marketing and advertising has an obviously huge effect on product sales. How many western players bought tales of vesperia who were not already aware of the product to begin with? People do not just randomly pick up wierd unadvertised japanese games in walmart or whatever. I think its the same deal in Japan. They are not just going to be finding COD in their normal consumer stores and it probably only exists in consumer stores and really only a very niche audience would know about it.

My understanding is that a EULA would prevent the trademarking of actual content and not the names of that content. This is like saying that any game with "tower defense" or "hero" in the title needs to change its branding, which would be just absurd. The term DOTA was never trademarked by blizzard so they have no legal claim to it anyway in my opinion. If they do, does that mean they have the exclusive rights to the words used in every title of any custom game played in WC3?

Maybe Valve will just give up on the whole dota thing and work on half-life 3 instead of a game we have all played a million times already. Or better yet make a real RTS.

I agree with the OP. The overall tone of ME1 was much more adult in nature. ME2 is clearly a much more teenage oriented experience, complete with daddy issues and angstyness. Honestly, I stopped expecting great things from the ME series after I saw what they did to dragon age. I think its safe to assume that ME3 will be the most pandering yet, with more sexy and constant action. Basically, bioware has changed a lot since EA took over and that is a fact.

If I want to waste time playing an MMORPG I would rather play a free one. Honestly, I would rather play LOTRO, vindictus, Dragons nest, EVE, runes of magic etc. The only egde that TOR really has for me is the storylines and dialog, but I am not a big enough starwars fan to want to drop $60 plus the subscription to grind my way through the content.

I am just tired of the wow style hot key combat and would prefer if the actual gameplay was challenging and fun. Thats why I am looking forward to games like Terra online, blade and soul, and the US version of continent of the ninth. I like the idea of MMOs, but I am just sick of having the dull minute to minute gameplay.

that dude seems cool, and possibly crazy but in a good way. I thought the writing in deathspank was consistently great, although I personally found most of it irritating more than funny.
