The Pile Of Shame

This is a collection of games that I've started and haven't yet finished - and have at least more than zero interest in coming back and finishing them.

The fact that these games are in this list is not necessarily any comment on their quality or what I think of them... I genuinely like a lot of these, and haven't finished them for reasons that don't really get any more complex than "oops, I forgot". There are many more games I haven't finished that don't make the list, because I have no intention of ever going back to them again. FF13, I'm talking about you.

1. Vanquish

A few acts in.. this game has been really fun so far.
2. Gears of War 2

I'm probably at least 75% of the way through Gears 2.. I remember about it every other month, play for about 45 minutes and get up to some set-piece I have to retry a couple of times and stop again.
I may never finish this
3. Darksiders

Near-ish the end. Had an awesome time so far.
4. Singularity

I think I'm near the end. Never got in to the multi at all (I doubt anyone is even still playing it) but the campaign was well done. Fun!
5. Demon's Souls

The clock is ticking! I have to finish this before the servers get turned off this year.
I don't care what the haters say, this game is brilliant.
6. Trine

I've seen other people playing the last level, and I'm actually not sure I want to do that.
7. Mirror's Edge

When everything goes right, this game feels so good. When it doesn't, it is THE WORST.
Usually means I can only play about 30 minutes at a time, max. Then need to take a few months off.
8. Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse

Just finished Episode 3. Two more to go!
9. Valkyria Chronicles

The art style got me interested in this game. I'm up to the first mission where the blue haired valkyrie starts slaughtering you. Seemed crazy unfair, and haven't touched it in about 2 years.
I like to think that I'll come back and try again at some point.
10. Eternal Sonata

The light/shadow mechanic was quite interesting. I remember I was quite enjoying this, didn't really have any good reason for stopping.
11. Bayonetta

I've started and haven't finished DMC4, but that isn't on this list.
Bayonetta has made DMC irrelevant.
12. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

This game didn't quite hit the same chords for me as the Phoenix Wright games did... but I'll still finish it at some point.
13. Picross 3D

On this list to remind me that there are still about a bajillionty puzzles left in this game to solve.

14. 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

I "finished" this ... where by that I mean I got stabbed in the back out of nowhere, the screen faded to black, and it said "BAD END".
I have no idea where I went wrong, but since there's multiple endings I'll give it another go.
15. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

Still within the tutorial quest. I will definitely play more, but not sure if I'm going to commit all the way yet.
16. Super Meat Boy

Nobody really finishes Super Meat Boy; Super Meat Boy finishes you.
17. LittleBigPlanet 2

"Completed" will mean the single player campaign here
18. Dead Space 2

Gotta be near the end now.. up to chapter 13. Should finish this soon!
19. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

Just started. Interesting!
20. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Got the new DaVinci DLC, so this is back on the list
21. Bulletstorm

This game is ridiculous.
Fun in about 30 minute stints, I guess.
22. Shadows of the Damned
23. Gears of War 3

Just started. Haven't even finished 2 yet - but that probably doesn't matter
24. Dead Island

Up to the city, which is nowhere near as fun as the resort.
25. Dark Souls

FFFFUUUUUUUUU Gaping Dragon
26. Batman: Arkham City

Near the end, but haven't done any side mission stuff yet
27. Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Did all the side stuff too early, burnt out on doing the main quest line :(
28. Red Dead Redemption

Only started this recently!
29. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Maybe 2/3rds of the way through... really should pick this up again
