I enjoyed the first one a fair amount; it was kind of janky, but as a stealth fan, I take what I can get.
Some stuff in there definitely needs some work (none of the characters attacks seemed like they had any impact, for one), but even at a glance this seems like a solid step forward from the previous game.
As someone who always tries and gets through a stealth game without being seen or hurting anyone, the new movement tech showcased here seems delightful.
Great news, for sure! Not a big surprise in the direction they're going, but hearing Danny's going to be taking a larger role on the site caught me off guard; couldn't be happier that he's sticking around.
Also really glad to hear they're holding off on just filling up the holes left by the recent departures really quickly; there wasn't any way that they could have just gotten back to "normal" after Brad, Vinny and Alex moved on. Only thing to do is to move forward onto whatever is next, and they definitely seem confident about some of the stuff they have coming down the pipe.
Seeing as I just played through all 3 of these in 2017, it's definitely too early for me. Maybe by the time I'm ready, this release will have gotten some more support?
Oof, the Kaiden hate is strong, from what I saw of the stream. Never going to understand the group of people who despise that guy. If you want to hate someone, hate Ashley! People seem to forget that she's a racist in that first game.
Another in favor of doing the Dishonored DLC's; haven't played the sequel yet, but Knife of Dunwall and Witches of Brigmore are arguably better than the main campaign.
Love these games; looking forward to playing this. New n Tasty was a great look back at the original; interested to see in what ways it changes and what ways it stays the same here in this one.
