2010 is a year that will offer many new games and system addons, but there are some games so epic that they just won't make the 2010 deadline, I now list the games in that catagory that I would really like but can't get until 2011 or later.
The Nintendo 3DS will offer many exciting new entries in many popular series,but one of the series i'm most looking foward to seeing get the 3DS treatment has to be the Kingdom Hearts series, I really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and that was even with the constraints of the DS so seeing what they plan to do with the power of the 3DS really excites me.
The much anticipated next entry in the Pokemon Series, This game intends to change the metagame is significant ways, introducing such new features as ... Triple Battles,Dream World and so many others that I couldn't possibly list them all here I look forward to starting 2011 with Black and White.
I have enjoyed this franchise from the start, it was all the fun of the sims games but in a more fictional sense and without all the burdens of meeting needs which is my only gripe with the sims series, this series has been on every major Nintendo system since the Nintendo 64 tho that installment was released only in Japan as Animal Forest, the concept of a village that's doing stuff even when you aren't there was appealing right from the start given the possiblites of the 3DS I expect great things from this latest installment.
The Legend of Zelda a series that I remember fondly, I've been playing every game in the series since Ocarina of Time, I'll be honest when I first saw the new art style of this game I was stunned and not in a good way but then i saw some gameplay to go with it and that put it all into perspective, So I now can't wait for the latest entry in The Legend of Zelda series.
The RPG Maker series has offered a way for regular gamers to get into the normally confusing hobby of creating a RPG, the series is as simple as dragging and dropping elements into the game and then programming them in using a very versitile programming language, The series makes it's logical jump to the DS in this version and brings with it the ability to share your games with other owners of the DS over download play or for owners of the game you can save your friend's game on the second slot, all good rights ? wrong this game has yet to make it's debut over seas which is a real crime to all of us fans of the series.
Mario Kart for the 3DS in just the screenshots looks AMAZING, I can only imagine the extent of viewing it in 3D, I hope to see plenty of new courses maybe even some new items and modes, I would love to see some connection possibilites with the Wii version of Mario Kart.
I couldn't believe it when they announced that MGS3 would be remade for the 3DS, This game was fun to play on the PS2 so the idea of a portable version is enough to make this a definite buy.
